Winter 2021 Methods Workshop

Project Directors & Lead Instructor: Lucas Reiner, Heather Seybolt, Sara Daleiden, Sandy Rodriguez, and Gustavo Leclerc

Core collaborators: Cassie Hoeprich

Students: UHI 2020-21 Cohort

We continued our in-depth explorations of social space and spatial justice in Los Angeles in the Winter quarter through four workshops where students were able to learn and explore new research methods. Utilizing diverse and specific creative forms and processes, as well as innovative forms of collaboration, UHI students conducted engaged research at a distance. The outcome of these workshops resulted in critical and speculative multimedia projects that explored the homes of students and Angelenos.
